Our family care model in South Africa consists of integrating five or six children with a foster mother, and sometimes a father, who together form a new family. The foster mother or parents of these families are supported by health and childcare professionals. To be as effective as possible, we work together with partner organizations on-site.
Sadly, most children are HIV-positive. The mothers are therefore trained to provide these children with aids inhibitors, which means they can have a relatively normal childhood. For the upbringing of the children, the foster mothers, parents or carers receive financial compensation, which gives them stability to the future.
For family sponsorship we are looking for 100 donors who want to contribute 9 euros a month to the livelihood of a family.
