With a sold-out hall in Theater Vredenburgh, Heart for Children has succeeded in organizing a cozy concert evening with 'The Christmas Inspirience' and drawing attention to what is so dear to Heart for Children; ensure that children without parents worldwide receive the care and attention they need. Particular how everything comes together on such an evening; the music with an African touch, the 'black gossip songs', the warmth of the audience and the enthusiastic orchestra.

The artists all feel connected to children in need in their own way. For example, Jimmie Earl Perry is a professor at 'The African Center of HIV / AIDS' and Pearl Jozefzoon recently was for a project in Kenya. Together with the audience - who has a heart for children - it gave that solidarity what 'Christmas Inspirience' is about. Not only 'Experience', the experienced, but 'Inspirience'; the inclusion of children worldwide. The luminous hearts that were distributed at the entrance symbolized this.

The carefully composed program offered a variety of music. On the one hand recognizable Christmas songs such as 'Come all Ye faithfull' and 'Joy to the world' and on the other hand songs that stop the thoughts of children in need; 'My African Dream' and 'What about the children'.

This resulted in alternating cheerful moments to moments of being impressed and a silent room.

During the evening, special attention was paid to a family in Port Shepstone with 5 tough, sweet and mischievous boys. With a hundred new donors who give 7 euros monthly, this family can be maintained. Eventually the evening provided 87 new donors with a number of promises in prospect! It is amazing and moving that the goal of recruiting 100 new donors has almost been achieved in this way.

There were also special donations such as a gift from Child Right. It was also possible to give all the children of the families we already provide a Christmas present in both Haiti and South Africa as well as children in Lesotho and Swaziland.
