The car of Madina - our contact person of the Mother and Child Center in Uganda - is total loss. That is no wonder, because she drove around in the country with a rickety car. Where in the Netherlands we are accustomed to beautiful, asphalted highways and well-built streets, you have to drive around the holes on dusty dirt roads in Uganda and traffic is chaotic. There is hardly any question of public transport. A solid car, for example a Jeep with four-wheel drive, is therefore an essential part of our work in Uganda. Madina daily lobbies for hours from project to project, for example to bring mothers and children to doctors or hospitals, to hand out mattresses and to teach at schools. The Jeep will be fully deployed for our projects in Uganda. Unfortunately, a second-hand car in Uganda also costs a lot of money. For € 11.500, Madina has seen a good, solid Jeep. Do you help? Together we make the difference for the children in Uganda!
