• Support is still necessary….

The emergency help that was offered to Haiti, was literally of vital importance. But giving the most essential emergency help was not enough, the need for support continues.

That is why we may not and cannot forget Haiti when the first effects of the feelings of dismay and television actions have faded away. Thousands of children in Haiti have become homeless and many of them lost their parents as well.

• Shelter for 48 homeless children in family homes

The € 250.000 we gratefully received through our help-action for Haiti, was used to start building new shelter. Heart for Children aim to take in 48 children in the family homes we are building. Apart from shelter we are offering these children clothing, schooling and medical care. And, completely in line with the way Heart for Children works, we are providing them with a new family situation.
