History

Heart for Children was created following a TV broadcast of the Hour of Power in 2008, initiating a collection for a once-only project for orphans in China. The initiators of Heart for Children were closely involved in this action and realized that worldwide there were many more abandoned and vulnerable (orphaned) children, living in very difficult conditions. These children are also entitled to chances for a better life and a future. And therefore help is needed. Help that is structural and of long duration.

On the basis of this premise, Heart for Children was created. A low profile foundation with a large effectivity. Through carefully chosen local partner organizations help is provided directly. The lines are short; the (overhead) expenses are low, so help is at the max and effective.
