Heart for Children, as well as the television programme on RTL5 of the Hour of Power, have joined forces to collect money for the children’s village of Bon repos. Ever since the start on Sunday January 17th 2010 during the broadcast of Hour of Power, the response to our rescue emergency action has been overwhelming and endearing. We have received no less than €250.111,00 for this action. This is a lot of money, with which we can do a lot of good work! Meanwhile an amount has been used for the first emergency help and the team of RescueNet has done a lot of excellent work.

Besides the emergency help Heart for Children will spend most of the money for structural help for the children of Haiti.

Reception of 48 homeless children in familyhomes:

Heart for Children’s goal is to place 48 children in familyhomes, especially newly built for them. These children are offered – besides a home – clothing, schooling, food and medical care. And, most importantly and in line with our way of working, Heart for Children is creating a new family situation.
