Daxing County Orphanage Center

Our summer-action of 2008 to support the Daxing County Orphanage in China was a very successful project. That is why we could even transfer € 30,000.00 (instead of the promised €25,000.00) to the orphanage. This orphanage is unique, because almost all of the 570 children living there are more or less handicapped physically and mentally. And also, because these orphans are placed in farmer families in the neighbourhood. It has been discovered that these children develop themselves far better in these homely surroundings than in the orphanage itself. The orphanage supports these caring families in word and deed.
